Lol no-one hates you for that - this forum is all about freedom of speech providing you dont slate peoples opinions. so its fine. I agree this is a sunject where seeing is believing for most people and we do appreciate that. I believe and can back up what i believe because i have seen and experienced what i believe to be spirits. But i dont expect others to agree because its my own personal experience not theirs. Im glad you have an open mind and are open to the possibilties, hopefully we will meet you on an investigation one day, having a sceptic along is always a good thing to!! you never know you may even end up changing your mind ..lol

yeah i will definetly come on investigation one day as long it's within reaching distance of me.
must be some experience searching through places in dead of night, knowing that something gruesome may have happened there.
btw, do you believe in the image of hampton court, the one thats supposed to be Hery VIII
i think its a bit far fetched

I think that it was either a joke, or was done innocently i.e someone closing the door, perhaps on a themed day where people dressed up.

I do believe, after experiencing loud bangs when asked if there was someone there, and gusts of cold breeze in the tunnels at Tilbury Coal House, I very much believe that there was a spirit in the tunnels with us, if not more than one.

I must admit that until i saw paranormal things going on in my house, i was certainly a sceptic. Infact im sure if you spoke to most people, they would have a small doubt in the back of there mind until they had proof, after all we are all only human. Sometimes its a good thing being unsure of the paranormal because at least that way you try to find reasonable explanations to odd things going on, rather than just assume straight away that is is a ghost. Ive had strange things go on in my house for 12 years and its only the last few months that i have had to stop trying to explain these things and get people in to prove that it was paranormal. Twelve years of having to think up explanations or worse still.......telling the kids off for these strange things........sure was hard work. lol Its nice though that everyone has there own opinion on these things, thats what makes it far more interesting. i agree.....even now i still try to find a logical explanation for things that happen....at wymering manor i saw a full apparition....im still trying to explain that in a logical way, but cant. I have had things happen to me over the years and i cant explain why these things occur. I think its healthy to have a logical based mind.....would like to hear more of your experiences jule.....thats if you wish to share them?...

I agree Happychick, when we were in the tunnels, I was looking for possible air shafts when we felt the breeze (cant remember what they were called...but the lift things)

My experiences have been going on 12 years, they started by objects being put in different places, knocking noises, and the most irritating was the back door being unlocked over night for 7 days in a row ( had to sleep downstairs by door to convince myself of it!). As the years went on, these all carried on and became part of my everyday thing. Then last year a small ink jar appeared in my oven, I know this sounds crazy and believe you me it took some explaining to my husband to not think id gone nuts.....lol... followed by the usual knocking, etc etc. Then early part of this year, my daughter was petrified as she said she saw a white shape rush past her bedroom door, knowing she was tired i must admit to being half hearted, but mistake that was as days later i was greeted by three white wavy lines in front of me just hovering, i leant forward to look closer and they dissapeared. I have had a medium in who is coming back this week to let me know who it is and why they are here. Each night though i set up my digital camcorder and catch lights flying around the room some as big as roughly 12 inches, it is amazing, so amazing that i slept downstairs two nights ago with the cam faceing on me.....and when played back i have lights going over me, i just wish that i could see it in a full manifestation....,maybe hopeing a bit too much. On my digital camera i have caught many large orbs, and when zoomed in on have people in them, infact one really strong orb i caught one night appears to have a lady sitting in it dressed in victorian clothes. I bet you were all really excited when you saw your apparition as i know i certainly would be. Hope you enjoy reading about my experience as much i enjoy reading all of yours. Jules xxx

well i have not seen a ghost but when in my local spiritualist church i saw a 6ft.6 red indian in full colour that i could not see through then i blinked and he went aww.but seeing is down to perception i have not seen a ghost but some times see a mist or spark of light where some one else might see an orb or a ghost

Well after last nights little episode i actually think i do!
in as much as i believe there was something there! i know a lot of things can seem spooky at the time and can usually be explained, but voices? Laughter? something answering our questions? Im definately no medium ( XXXL ) lol. ( no offence ) but i honestly did hear these things so did my Daughter! i also think i might have got something on camera but im not too sure!
I really am starting to think that there may well be some residual energy that remains after we have gone!

After each investigation, I believe in ghosts a little bit more.
And I was a believer to begin with, lol
