Hi Laura, due to the nature of my work I have had so many experiences, too many to count. But I do feel that ghosts and spirits are two seperate issues. As I explained about my feelings on ghosts being a recording in the atmosphere, these I feel are the reflextion of some familiarity of the physical life, that has become trapped in the eathers of time, waiting to be replayed when conditions are right, or when the right medium of expression is around, they would pass by or through us with no recognition of our presence, whereas a visitation of a spirit has a purpose, and that purpose is usually to communicate something to this physical world. Spirits who come in visitation are not only able to make their presence seen - heard - or felt, but work hard to do so. They are also very aware of us (people with life force energy) and can be friendly or unfriendly depending on the nature of their personality in life or the message they are wanting to get across to us. But I know that both ghosts and spirits are very real and are indeed a fact of life, and have been so right back to the begining of human existence. lol Maureen

I have experienced a few things in my life that can't be explained logically as of yet but I do believe one day we will have a better understanding perhaps even scientifically, but then again | kind of like the idea of mysteries and it makes the world less monotonous. My flat seems to have a kind of presence, although nothing unusual has happened for over a year now. Every now and then it would feel as if someone was in the room and watching you and objects would be found in strange places. I used to feel uncomfortable in the hallway and when my son grew up he felt the same. (I never let him know about my feelings). There are two major things that happened. The first was about 15 years ago when a marble rolled across the floor. There was no one in the room who could have moved it and it was not until later that it seemed an eerie thing to have happened. (Does spook me when I think of the ball rolling down the corridor in the film The Shining!) The last event happened over a year ago. My son went out for a few minutes (he was the only one in the flat) and when he returned home an ornament from the lounge was in his bedside drawer. Also when I have been studying various religions, particularly the pagan side things it seemed to increase the activity. I have tried to find logical conclusions to the events but to no avail so far. I know the old lady who lived here before me died, and from what I have heard she was a sweet person and there is no bad feeling here (I would have scarpered long ago!)

A lot of people think of spirits/ghosts as evil or bad - like bad energies - but some can be very warm - some are mischevious yes but dont cause a problem. It could be someone watching over you - maybe the old lady, or maybe a family member - just letting you know that thay are still there to watch over you but mean you no harm

Until recently, I would have answered that I do not believe in ghosts in any shape or form. Admittedly this is a very ignorant attitude to profer. Now, however, I am of the opinion that there could be some energy, sentient or not, beyond our current understanding and perception, that could account for the vast amount of anecdotal evidence offered by witnesses of supposed paranormal (ghostly) activity. Cheers, Git

I agree, you are more likely to see a full apparition when your not looking for one - a lot like Heather and Maureen did at Wymering - the invest hadn't even started and a full apparition was seen also we caught evps of movement in the room he was seen going into ! as an MD player had already been locked off in there 5 mins beforehand !!

Yes I am a definite believer as I have had many experiences that I cannot explain and have spoken to many people about their experiences over the years, of which there are to many similarities to not be true. Just 5 days ago, in the middle of the afternoon whilst I was a work, I was walking up the stairs to the second floor and a white mist moved passed me on the stairs. It appeared to be going down the stairs as I was going up. The mist seemed to be in the shape of a human head and shoulders. I came without warning and left just as quick. Strange!!!!!!

Hi!, I definitely believe in ghosts, although I have never seen anything myself, there are far too many accounts of ghostly happenings for there to be nothing at all. I have been fascinated by ghosts & Hauntings since I was 5 (I am 30 now) and I think I always will be. It is a fascinating subject, and I have yet to go on a real ghost hunt, which is a big ambition of mine!.
I think that there are definitely things that happen that we are not meant to understand, they just 'are', and they will always remain a mystery.

hi all well i must say that its very intrersting topic ,i belive their are things beyond or understanding but we will never truly know if their is an after life untill we die ie as in spirits ghosts what ever you want to call them what i really want to address is that why do mediums claim they have a gift to talk to spirit but need to learn their craft their fore my argument is that take anyone off the street and you could teach them to be a medium dont mean to get anyones back up but its something that has perplexed me for a while now

Hi all, I do believe in ghosts now, since having paranormal activity in my house. I personally feel comforted knowing that there is life after death and that you will still be able to watch over your family. Infact sometimes when you sit and think about it for too long, i find i have so many questions i would like answered but unfortunately probably wont find some of them out until ive passed over. Jule xx

Ok guys don't everyone haterize a fella for saying this,
but i believe that seeing is believing.
until i see something, i will have a hard time believing it.
at present the only spirits i've seen is at the bottom of a glass, lol.
but i got an open mind, and i wouldn't totally dismiss the fact of spirits roaming amongst us
