That is very strange Idaho.
I have heard that making alterations to buildings can stir up paranormal activity, although how this happens, i'm not really sure.
Maybe other forum members will have the answers.

Only in the nicest way really. My dog Ben passed over about 9 years ago and he was always wanting a fuss. Sometimes we can feel him sit at our feet when we are watching telly and my daughter's dog never, never sits near the radiator, Ben's favourite place.
When he was alive I would sometimes sense someone behind my chair and I would always look at Ben to see what his reaction was. He was always watching something just past my right shoulder. My husband was always saying"you two can stop that now" (I think we used to freak him out).lol

That is quite strange.
When i was younger our dog died in the corner of our lounge, a few years later we bouth another dog, and the new dog would cower whenever he went near to the corner of the room where our old dog died.
I think that animals definately pick up spirits.

I used to think that my house was haunted.
When I first moved in, my dog would stare up to the top of the stairs, and one night he began to jump up at something (as if he was greeting someone) but nobody was there, we could not even distract him from doing this.
Doors would open as we walked towards them, and one night while we were alseep, our glass display cabinet fell down from the wall, and we had almost a hundred glasses/plates smash on to the kitchen floor. the strange thing was that we never heard a sound, the dogs did not even bark.

I definately think our pets can tune in. I think they retain their sixth sense and use it. Whereas we humans are told it is a) its not real, b) something to fear, c) we're making it up. So we stop using the natural gifts we have

Thats very possible Annietis.
I think that is why children are alot more in tune with their sixth sense. At a young age they know nothing about fear of ghosts/spirits.

in reply to residualstar it is feasable that the vibrations of an event is held inthe water molecules that are in the fabric of a building so disturbing them sets them of although why should it be events of panic or fear that are recorded and not happy events i do not know

I would love a ghost of my own. Unfortunatly there is no spiritual presence in my home. Psychics do tell me that my grandmother is always with me, but I have never experienced her in my home, maybe she doesn't like my house.......she loves my car though as I have often felt her (or someones) knees pushing the back of my seat when I am in the car alone? I also have a ghost cat. My cat, Sugar was murdered last september. Ever since, she has been making herself known. Paul has felt her in his flat, she jumped on the bed and walked up him and stood with her paws on his chest then meowed. He woke, thinking he was mine as i have cats and he doesn't, but he wasn't. I often feel a cat jump on the bed and lay behind me i roll over to cuddle up to it and there is nothing there. I have heard, felt and seen what i believe to be Sugar. She spends time at both mine and pauls' flats. Do you experience this to with your cat Idaho?
