i would love to do an investigation of Bolling Hall in Bradford, this is quite near where i live. Bolling Hall is supposed to be very haunted and i believe that years ago there was an offer of £50 to anyone who would stay in Bolling Hall overnight, although i don't think this was ever done.

Hi!
If you go to Clerkenwell I'd definitely like to be on your list to go please! I tried to find out about Clerkenwell a few months ago but I didn't have any luck - I couldn't find any details to get in contact with the place, the line was dead (spooky all on its own!) and there were disturbing rumours that it had been built over with some flats - which I hope is not true. Some people said that such terrible things happened down there that the place was better off buried!
When were you thinking of going?

Would love an investigation done on Pluckley in Kent, the Mermaid Inn, Rye, Hever Castle, Dover Castle, Westview Hospital, Tenterden - the list could go on and on lol.

Has anyone thought of trying some of the old WWII RAF bases in Lincolnshire. Some of them are supposed to have mega activity. I can get some names of some of the bases if you are interested. Also Groombridge Place in Tunbridge Wells is reputedly haunted. This site goes back to early Saxon times and has had a reputation for many, many years. The only down side is that although it is a touristy type of place and has many visitors during the day it is privately owned so I dont know how easily permission would be granted for an investigation. Just some thoughts for visits that I thought I would throw in Barbra

Getting the names of the bases is no prob. Will post them later on. And as far as I can tell people dont have a lot of problems getting access for investigations. I have a series of books about these 'Ghost Stations' which are really good and give details of lots of investigations and happenings on these bases.

Ive been to one of the bases in Lincolnshire! Struby!
It had a very eerie feel to it and there was a lot of it still standing! including the control tower that felt especially strange!
I think visiting some of these would be a great idea!

Well here goes with the list of the airfields and these are just some of them! All are reputed to be haunted although how much of them are still standing I dont know and for some reason a lot of the control towers are very haunted.
The old Lavenham airfield just off the A1141 in Suffolk RAF Waltham, nr Grimsby, Lincs RAF Leeming, Yorkshire RAF Harwarden, South-west of Chester North Weald, Essex RAF Metherington, Lincolnshire. Ghost of young lady, always after dark and between 9.30pm and 10pm. RAF Spitalgate, east of Grantham, Lincs RAF Elsham Wold, Lincs. Haunted control tower RAF Binbrook, Lincs RAF Friskerton, nr Lincoln. Haunted control tower RAF Coleby Grange, Nr Lincoln. Haunted control tower Petwood Hotel, Woodhall Spa. Haunted by Guy Gibson and his crew RAF Helmswell, nr Market Rasen Airfield at West Malling, Kent. Haunted control tower RAF Bottesford, on Leics border. Haunted control tower RAF Manby, Lincs. Haunted accomodation building RAf Bircham Newton, Nr King Lynn, Norfolk RAF Wittering, A1 road, south of Stamford, Lincs RAF Blyton, Lincs RAF Digby, Lincs RAF Lichfield, Staffordshire RAF Scampton, Lincs RAF East Kirby, Lincs
Hope this is enough to be going on with and if you need any info on any of these I will try and look it up in my books for you.

Wow....i see what you mean about being lots of them....lol
I wonder why the control towers are the main place for hauntings?....the one that i would like more info on is the Manby RAF base....probably as its the accomodation that is reputed to be haunted instead of the control tower
