Thanks for the welcomes, I only stumbled across this site by accident, I was talking with a mate about Canewdon Church and decided to put it in as a search, and low an behold here I am.  On the location subject, Wickford is worlds apart from Ilford and Dagenham, I have to go for a drive now to see a burnt out car!! |

Hope you're all sitting comfortably.....born in Rotherham, lived there until 2, then lived in Northern Ireland until 13, then lived in North Wales until 21, then back to Northern Ireland until 29, then to Northampton for 6 months, then Gloucester for 18 months, then Doncaster for the last year......and I ain't moving again!!!!

Ok all sitting comfortably...
Then let us begin.
Born in Thorpe Combe Hospital Walthamstow but lived through my early (formulative years) in Leyton E10.
At the age of 10 we moved out to Loughton - brilliant for me - running around Epping forest, fishing, archaeology and looking for ghosts.
Six years later and after my father's death I was dragged screaming and kicking to Kent by my mother. A place called Kingsdown near Deal. Actually it was quite picturesque, lots of paranormal investigations there but the local beer arrrggghhhhhhhh
Eventually escaped from Kent following several unsuccessful tunnelling attempts, by jumping the wire and out-running the armed guards.
Spent a brief time studying at York and subsequently Durham.
Bought a house in County Durham ( a truly beautiful county ) and have resided here for the last 7 years.
Where next I wonder, I seem to be working my way northwards
