Hello everyone, I am from Cheltenham in Gloucestershire, although originally from the Stroud area (with Woodchester Mansion, Owlpen Manor & The Ancient Ram Inn literally minutes away).
I'm one of the two researchers for Stroud Paranormal Group and you may also know me from Ghosts UK.

Unfortunately Owlpen Manor is now out of bounds to paranormal groups. One of our group members knows the partner of their bursar said that they had a number of weird events happen since Most Haunted stirred things up. Apparently they also had a few people demand an investigation in the place...sure you can imagine the sort: rude and simply after a thrill. Sadly there tends to be a lot of that in these parts.
The group I belong to have it down as our most wanted location, and we have had informal discussions, but nothing more. Hopefully it'll happen in the future as we're local, but I think it's going to be a waiting game!

I used to live near your neck of the woods, in Quedgeley, just outside Gloucester, so I know the area reasonably well.
As Paul said, we have some locations down your way this year, would be good to see you on an invest. I'm looking forward to getting back to that part of the country myself.

Hi Gwen - I know Quedgeley reasonably well as I used to work on one of the business parks down there...just a quick nip down Frocester Hill and up the M5! Yeah, originally I was from Forest Green in Nailsworth.
I've put my name down for the Woodchester Mansion investigation ; it's a fascinating place if nothing else. Was down there last weekend and it was reasonably quiet. I'm currently writing up our report and will post it on the SPG website over the weekend. If you're interested I'll send you a link.
I understand you may also be coming down to The Ram as well. Always a good one, just to meet the legend that is John Humphries. Whether you think it's haunted or not, some strange stuff goes on down there.

Welcome to the group, so your just up teh road from me then, I am in Bristol. I help organise investigations with EssexParanormal, and I am kind of helping out with a group called Bristol Society for Paranormal Research and Investigation (another group ). It would be really good if we could talk, as one thing I try to do for both groups is find locations, and you may be able to help us out.
