Are there ghost stories attached to the museum or any tragic tales connected with the building?

As I type I'm in the library right next to Valance House (can see it from this window). My new house is just round the corner to it.
Apparently there is a ghostly presence felt around one of the old museum rooms on the first floor. It’s been on the ‘Why files’ some time in the past…

Ive been told that a lady dressed in white is often seen in the grounds.
I remember going to the museum when I was about 10 and was told then that it was haunted.
