Not a haunting, but ABC's (alien big cats) come under the paranormal umbrella in cryptozoology.
'The Beast of Essex' has been spotted for a third time, hunting in fields around Weely near Clacton. Retired policeman Richard Dartnell saw what he believed to be a black panther. He said 'It was as clear as day'!!

I saw a black panther in fields near Dunton while running a car boot sale in the hot summer of 1993. About 40 other people had stopped and were staring into the cornfield behind us, I turned to look and saw a HUGE black cat slinking through the field!
I was scared it was an escaped zoo animal from nearby Basildon Zoo!!!!
