What about the hoy and helmet pub on the roundabout entering benfleet? the cellar is said to have a troup of roman centurions that march through! the landlord has been on tv with it a few times so unless it's changed hands since i reckon he could be up for it! they say that when the centurions march through the cellar that you can only see them from the knees up because they are marching on a road that is now well below the current floor level!
