Hiya,
When i was MUCH younger i heard stories of paranormal activity at Prittlewell Priory in Priory Park Southend. If i remember correctly people even recall seeing a ghostly monk like figure walking through the grounds of the Priory.
I would love to go and investigate....
Anyone else fancy it?

I have heard these stories as well when I was a kid. Haven't heard much about it since then. I regulary spend the night in Priory Park (no I'm not one of the druggies or drunks ), I fish the lake. It is a very spooky place at night and I have seen somethings that are d**n right weird. I'm up for an investigation of the Priory anytime. Count me in!

the museum is the haunted part apparently the children who used to live there haunt it (it's their story book they wrote with all the ghosty pics on display upstairs) There are also a group of ghostly monks and a hanging man somewhere on the lake. Could be quite interesting to have a look at it.

Hi all
The kurzal has a exciting history as it was the center of southends tourist heyday during the victorian period and could be worth asking if they would allow an investigation, ill see if there are any stories of the place and ghosts and ill e mail them although the building has private business's now and they may not want people to stay overnight but its worth a try!
