Hi Paul!
I see what you mean about classifying the orbs! The thing is that if everyone stated what camera and resolution they used then surely we should be able to get a rough guideline as to wether the orbs are genuine, dust particles, insects, hairs or whatever? Someone, somewhere has the technology to decipher the camers and photo technology in order to draw up some kind of guideline. Well lets hope so anyway. By-the-way, love the pics!

Ches,
Opps hope I didn't offend you in my last post. Anyhow, I agree we need to discuss orb's and really try to nail down exactly what they are, as there does appear to be lots of unknowns with them. As you have said someone somewhere out there has the answers, or maybe lots of people have lots of little bits of the answers, and it all just needs to be put together.

I've taken a picture outside while on an investigation and I picked up a red orb, which seems to be a demon... At least that's what the spirits there are saying...

Hi all!
I did a private house investigation as part of ASSAP and during this investigation we caught a very sharp, red, almost laser type orb on camcorder and we saw it with our own eyes. The medium who is now working the case also says that the 'red' orbs are a sign of eveil presences. It was because of these that I first became curious about orbs!

It's not something pleasant, that's for sure...

Hi!
Just for the record - the house I was investigating has been blessed by a vicar twice and had a cleansing by a medium and her party, but it is still showing mild poltergeist activity, orbs and all! Any ideas anyone?

On a recent investigation at Coal House fort, a large pink orb was photographed.

I have heard it suggested that some coloured orbs are cloloured because they relate to the Chakras! Personally, I don't believe it! I haven't got a clue as to what makes orbs coloured!

Im not so sure Cherill when the pink orb pic was taken at coal house forts, at the time we felt that the energy was quite negative. And this could be the reason it was pink.

I have surfed the web to see if i can find an explanation for the different coloured orbs, but to no avail.....no-one seems to know the meaning of different coloured 'orbs'. However, i did find this interesting piece on characteristics....
Other names for lightorbs
**Dandelion-fluffs looking balls **Orbs (of light) **Balls of light
Characteristics of lightorbs
**They are transparent **They can be seen in groups or alone **They can be followed with the eye if you are used to watch them **You see them as a flash in the sky if you begin to see them **They are usually round of shape **They can have different colours, but mostly they have a whitey colour **They can be visible in front of objects **Your eyes mostly are distracted when an orb is approaching an object **They mostly move downward
Description of lightorbs
The orbs are transparent, but what is behind is vague, but still visible.Sometimes the orbs itself are very vague, but mostly they are round. These orbs exist in different colours, all the colours of the rainbow. Even black, orange and the 'normal' white or grey. They can have different shapes and do not need to be round. The different colours can have a different meaning. They move mostly downward to the ground or go to the ground with a curve. They move alone or in groups. Sometimes an orbs goes up and disappears in the sky. If you are used to watch orbs you can follow them from high in the sky to low near the ground. If you just started to see them you see them as a flash in the sky, mostly just before your eyes are drawn to something else. If an orb is approaching an object, like a tree, you get distracted by the object or perhaps you can focus yourself so well that the orb can befollow between the branches of the tree. It is also possible you start to see orbs before things like buildings or other people's faces.

A few years ago when i looked at orb pictures i would have said it was dust or some trick of the light reflecting in the camera but i`m really not convinced by this anymore, i`ve taken a few pictures with orbs in, all at locations with paranormal activity i`ve never once however managed to get an orb appear in a photo taken in a location with no paranormal activity, if dust was the cause i would have expected to be able to get orbs all the time so although its possible dust may be the case for some orbs i really do think some have a paranormal origin, but what they are I really don`t know and why some are different colours is interesting too.
