A warm hello to all members and users of Essex Paranormal.
My partner notified me of this site as we both have a strong interest, and a number of experiences of, all that can be considered paranormal.
I have an interest in all that is unexplained, Macabre, etc that started at a very young age after seeing an apparition of who I later found out to be my greatgrandmother sitting on the end of my bed when staying overnight at my grandparent's home. I must have been about 6 or 7. It was the source of great amusement to my family other than my Nan, who also regularly saw the spirit, and my great aunt who was a spritiualist and was frequently visited by spirit.
Since then I have been interested in the other side of physical knowledge, the occult, Wicca, Magick, and the paranormal. I have since had experiences in Cornwall (vivid footsteps in a cottage we rented), sensations and 'feelings' when visiting sacred ancient sites etc. I am now a Heathen, and I am very interested in the ancestors and their presence amongst us now!
I am very interested in your research at Coalhouse Fort. As a young cub scout I still remember one of our leaders telling us of a drummer boy that he saw there when working after dark as a groundsman.
I would love to join you at some point on one of your research trips, maybe the next if there are spaces??
