Yes i think it could be possible - now lets say this was a malevolent spirit. These feed off negative thoughts, emotions, stress etc If the person having the exorcism believed it would work so much and be so happy about having it done - would that not stop the negative emotions its feeding off of as the person is now happy? It is well documented that most exorcisms work for a short time and than the spirit activity seems to increase again afterwards and often comes back with a vengance. So could this mean the person who is now better has got over the situation and happiness of it all being resolved a bit and those negative emotions that caused the thing to feed off them in the first place are working their way back in. So its feeding off them again, getting stronger and waiting to strike again. Just a thought, or even a couple of them lol Phew my brain is tired i think i best go lay down ........ lol

I can see what your saying Laura, but if someone was now happy which could stop the malevolent spirit feeding off of the energy, wouldnt the spirit still be there in theory, it just wouldnt have negative energy to feed off.

Exorcism is a gamble - the demon with either retaliate or go away.
