I only just realised this earlier this week: About 6 months I had a weird dream about my sister and her partner - I dreamt that they were looking at houses to move into and yet my sister was telling her partner she didn't want to be with him - they were splitting up. At the time of the dream, everything was hunky dory with them in real life.....then a couple of months ago this all happened in real life, out of the blue...he lost his job, they had to move and they are currently in the process of possibly splitting up. (I don't want to say too much in case my sister ever joins this forum, out of respect), but let's just say the dream was 'right on the button'. Because it was so long ago I had totally forgotten about it until earlier this week.
I think the reason I remembered was because my husband had a dream about a train crash (he couldn't remember any more details than that really) exactly a week before the recent crash near Reading. This was unusual because if you asked him, he'd say he never dreams (in reality we all do, we just don't always remember them) but that morning, the week before, the first thing he said when he woke up was about this dream.

Okay, I had this dream last night and it freaked me out somewhat: in the dream, I was on an investigation and suddenly felt as if I was being 'possessed' by an entity or an entity was communicating with me in my mind...feelings of lightheadedness, dizziness, darkness, all other sound and vision being blocked out........I don't know if I frightened myself but I woke myself up.....I sat upright in bed, however still felt these feelings I had experienced in my dream for some time afterwards. Now the scary thing is, when I think back on this, I really don't know if I was awake or asleep when these feelings came over me, as it seems to have been extremely real and vivid.
Last week I had another strange dream - I was outside on a road, and above us in the sky were 'floating' cars (!) (don't laugh)...in the dream, this was totally normal that cars would be 'parked' in the sky....then suddenly, one by one, the cars started dropping to the ground and everyone was scared, like this was a sign of the end of the world or something - there were even army helicopters appearing to try and support these cars and stop them from falling(!) There was also a little blonde girl in the dream and she was excited as she was being allowed to play freely; she said she wasn't allowed to play like this at home. Now, I have an idea about the significance of the little girl, but as for the floating cars?!!
Would anyone care to hazard an interpretation of either of these dreams? (And no, I haven't been taking hallucinagenic drugs....lol!)
Cheers

I could be totaly off with this.... It would help if I knew if you were a woman or not. If you are, I'd say the little girl was YOU. The cars represent freedom...and the fact that they were floating is not silly... It's symbolic. Sounds like they represent freedom of movement. Cars are representative of freedom... and movement.... and the fact that they were floating is symbolic of floating above the "norm".... perhaps. Total and utter freedom of expression... of movement... of being who and what you want. The fact that they were falling sounds like a fear.... some insecurity that if you fly, you'll fall..... Of course.... I have another theory, because of the presence of army helicopters. This could be something very simple.... The cars representing our modern way of life, and the fact they are falling being symbolic of the turmoil going on in the world...and the army helicopters being quite literaly...the army trying to restore order to the world. However, I don't believe in such literal interpretations. I believe it is symbolic of something going on in your life....but, in the end... YOU are the only one who can say what your dream means.

I just had to add this on today LOL !! My hubby who is THE most non-believer in anything of a paranormal nature ever, told me at great lengths this morning about his dream last night. To cut a long story short it was about a robbery from a large financial concern regarding a mahoosive amount of cash/bearer bonds type thing. He said he'd never heard of the name and thought it was the name of a ficticious casino (I'm thinking something likes Oceans 11 here... ) Anyway I had heard of this name having worked in the financial arena. When he typed in google the name of the company he realised that what they dealt in was EXACTLY what his dream related too !! TBH I wasn't taking it all in but then said his Mum used to get dreams / premonitions of future events. Now he tells me LOL !! Oh well, thought I'd share it with you, remember you saw it hear first !! Mandy

OK this might sound a bit weird ! I had about three dreams last night, all about various things (Which are not important to this post) It is unusual for me to remember dreams when I wake up, but last night I slept the best I have done in ages.
There was one thing that kept recurring in each dream. At some point in each dream I was frantically searching E-Bay for a 'Blue Wand' ?? This didn't mean anything to me when I woke up. But I remember in one dream me and Andy were going out, and we were late and he was getting annoyed as I wouldn't leave home until I had found a 'Blue Wand'
Of course this morning I did an E-bay search on 'Blue Wand' There were 88 items available including vacuum cleaner parts etc. The first item for sale caught my eye. It was a Lapis Lazuli 'Blue Wand' IE a wand shaped agate. I looked into the properties of Lapis Lazuli and saw that it was linked to my birth sign (Taurus) it's healing properties were for the throat area. But most importantly it aids communication. Especially with your 'Spirit Guide' !!! This is something I have been working on, using various books and techniques etc.
Was this a sign from my spirit guide ? As those of you who know me might know, I have a great interest in crystals, stones, agates etc. and their various properties. So needless to say I ordered the 'wand' (I must stress that 'wand' refers to the cut of the stone and not that it is some sort of 'magic wand' !) BTW it was only £3 inc P&P. Interesting though !

I think this is really interesting. It sounds like a sign doesn't it? Its very spooky !! It is like you were meant to buy it and i think it will be a good thing for you. Something was drawing you to it. Has the wand arrived yet?

Steve, reading that made me sit up and listen! I am very interested in dreams and there meanings. I have also over the years had what I used to call, 'Happening Dreams' these were things that I dreamt and then usually within day's it would happen or something very similar would. I have to be honest it dosen't happen anywhere near as much as it used to but from time to time it does and it can be the most spritual feeling one can get. It feels like a link has been formed and you feel warmer and closer to some thing that you just cant put your finger on.
I would love to speak to you more on this subject next time we meet. Sounds wonderfull!

I got my 'wand' on Saturday morning. I have cleansed it and its ready for use ! As you can see below it's pocket sized, so I can bring it along to investigations. (Just in case anyone thought it was some kind of Harry Potter thing to brandish around, you can see it next to a 2P piece !)
