Hi all
Just about awake after last night's investigation at a Hall here in the NE.
I thought that I would mention that following hearing footsteps in the corridor outside the room under investigation, I placed my passive Infra Red (coupled to a red light) outside the door facing up the corridor. The door was closed, but activation of the unit could be observe through the under door space.
Nothing happened until 05.50 this am when the motion sensor "fired" and I was out of the door like a shot.....unfortunately no results.
But the device worked, there were no investigators nor other people nor their pets in this part of the house at the time.

I have managed to pick up some motion detectors on E BAY for £12. They aren't used either! I will post what they are like once we have tried them out on the next investigation! Hopefully the y will work properly and it was money well spent!
