Walk Around
On a walk around Wolfie, Mo & Lewis hear a ‘hum’ in the toilet area near the submarine mining room
In the shell room Mo sense that there is somebody walking about and Lewis hears singing
Steve sees somebody walking past the bathrooms and Lewis feels that there was an accidental drowning, in what is thought to be the officers’ bathroom. Wolfie feels that the head is being held under the water, although Lewis feels may be a bump on the head.
Lewis feels a touch to the head in the submarine mining room
In toilet area on the upper floor Lewis feels an aggressive spirit
And on the 1st floor walk way, over -looking the central courtyard, Lewis feels that somebody walks around and looks over the railings.
Once the walk around is completed Lewis states he has been receiving the name Mary or Maria and wants to go outside. David & Wolfie go with him and he is drawn to the wash house area. Here he says he can see her walking/running from room to room peering in as thought looking for somebody. He feels that the correct name is Maria and that she is also seen in the courtyard area. She is looking for somebody who died. He feels that she doesn’t belong here but is looking for someone who does/did. She has the appearance of dark hair, quite petit & attractive with dark/olive skin and is presenting grey uniform and flat shoes.
He also picks up on a World War II solider with a green uniform and a flat cap, holding a rifle, who has been seen all over the fort.
Note
After the walk around, David spoke in private to Dave, the guardian of the fort for the evening. Dave was able to confirm that there had been a death by drowning within that bathing area although the details are very sketchy – it is believed that a man was drowned and that is was ‘horse-play’ gone wrong. At this point he was also asked for any specific information relating to incidents so that we could confirm facts as they came out over the night. At this point he confirmed that there is a ghost of a woman called Maria, who has been seen on a number of occasions within the fort. He was also able to give information regarding her life and relation to the fort – this information will not be published at present as it is hoped we return to the fort and this could have a bearing on future investigations. This information is currently only known to David & John.
Vigil 1 – Full group – Tunnels/Gun Powder Store
9.05 Group enter tunnels and set up video camera, looking back down the corridor, they then enter the gunpowder store room.
9.10 Group continue to move about and take photos

Paul has taken a number of photos and is picking up ‘orbs’
9.12 Lewis is picking up energies in the tunnel we have just come down
Steve has his dowsing rods and these are also picking up energy in the tunnel

Mo has a crystal and has asked if there is any activity, this also points to the corridor being the place of energy
